Hope you all had a good Christmas! Went back Wales-wards for a few days to see family folk but got back oop north last night.

Andy bought me the One Kiss Can Lead to Another boxset and it's rather fabulous. Plenty of teen death songs ('Terry', 'Condition Red', the ever wonderful fatal cat-fight of 'Nightmare'), diet advice from the Fabulettes ("Try the Worryin' Way"), the lamenting Bittersweets. Sophisticated Boom Boom indeed.

Made the mistake of going to the Trafford Centre today. I'd heard that John Lewis had a good yarn sale on. Unfortunately it was only after we'd braved the Trafford Centre car park that we found out that this particular John Lewis doesn't sell yarn. Joy. Still, got me another Sandman from Waterstones while we were there. Which I'm glad I did, or else the hour it took us to get out of the car park would have been a complete waste of time.
